Business

Business debt can be a difficult subject to tackle. Any business owner or executive can tell you how hard it is to run a business. Unlike the nine to five racket, owning a business means that your income will be irregular, maybe lots of money came in last month and next to nothing this month.

With that kind of irregular cash flow, it can be extremely hard to meet the very regular expenses that come with running a business. Things like electricity, water, heat, lease payments and employee salaries have to be paid no matter how much money is coming in or not coming in. With realities like this, it is not hard to see where business debt comes from.

Financing business debt can be a little bit more complicated that your run of the mill personal loan. Like individuals, businesses generally have their own credit rating, but if your business is very small or very new, you may not have much of a credit rating built up. Many lenders will look to the owner or principals in the business for a personal guarantee before agreeing to finance business debt.

As with any type of financial product, it is important to shop around at different lenders when financing your business debt. Make sure you get the most favorable terms for your loan. Use the money you borrow wisely. Using a good low interest loan to eliminate your business debt and see you through the lean times can pay big benefits as your business grows and prospers.

It is important to remember, though, that no business runs smoothly all the time. You are likely to hit rough patches as your business grows and you go through the learning process that opening a new business inevitably entails. The most important thing is to use your debt wisely. Use your borrowed funds to invest in employees, real estate and equipment that will help your business grow.

Staying ahead of your competitors is a constant struggle for every business owner. It is important to know when to borrow and when to spend money on growing your business. Strategic investments in employees, consultants, equipment and space for your business can be a great way to stay one step ahead of the competition.

Having your business be debt free 100% of the time is not always a realistic goal. Most businesses, even the largest businesses in the world, incur substantial debt to meet their business goals and grow their companies. Debt is not necessarily a bad thing for your business. Using your debt wisely is an important skill every new business owner should learn.

Business debt is nothing to be afraid of. Using business loans to grow your business and gain market share is a smart strategy. The savvy business owner knows how to use business debt to make his or her business thrive.

Every money making opportunity that you see boils down to one common thing: idea. As you know the best ideas pay. The most creative ideas pay.

The best thing about ideas is it’s free and everybody has the capability to think of ideas.

In order to be creative and innovative about ideas, you have to have knowledge. Knowledge is important. You need to know thousands of things to be creative.

Below are steps that you can take to come up with profitable innovative ideas:

1) Read and study as many things as possible about your industry or product. You need to investigate specific information of what you are going to sell. For example, if you want to be involved in real estate, you study everything about the subject matter in details. If you want to start a business, you have to know what’s going on in your industry, what sells and at what price, etc.

2) Improve general knowledge. Don’t limit yourself to only learn about things in your own industry. Learn as many topics as possible from other industries. It can be any topic. This enables you to think out of your own industry.

3) Mix and match ideas from cross industry. Once you investigate and research enough, your mind is the
storehouse of all the ideas you have studied. And this is the main source to your creative ideas. All the knowledge you have learned so far is the raw materials to produce new ideas.

4) Thinking of raw idea. After you have done your study, think hard about the solutions you want to your problem. Then stop and relax. Get a cup of coffee or go for a movie. Do something relaxing and let your subconscious mind work for you. The idea or solution will come to you at a much unexpected moment. For me, ideas always come to me before I sleep. My mind will be bombarded with ideas that I can’t stop.

5) Refine your raw idea until it’s up to your satisfaction. You can always do your own research on the raw idea by asking questions to target market to test the feasibility of the idea and how to improve the idea further.

Basically new idea is a combination of old ideas. You need to have enough old ideas to come up with new ideas. That’s why constant reading and observation are important.

Sometimes when someone has launched a new product, you would say, “Hey! I thought about that before. That’s my idea.” You might have had thought about the idea but you didn’t capitalize on it. Someone has done it before you.

It’s always good that you have an ideas book. Whenever you think of a good idea, write it down. You can always work on it or improve it later. Bring along the ideas book wherever you go. It doesn’t need to be fancy. It can be a normal pocket-sized spiral notebook.

With the method outlined above, I hope that you will be the next person who makes fortunes with unprecedented ideas that people can never think of.

Three Small Business Pricing Strategies For MAXIMUM Profit

Posted by blogadmin under Business
No Comments

What do you charge for your services? How did you come up with that price? Did you just randomly choose it? Checked out the competition? Tried a price until someone bought? I’m going to share with you 3 pricing strategies that you can implement into your business. These strategies have been proven and they’ll work for your business to bring you maximum profits.

#1 Odd Number Pricing

Have you ever wondered why late night infomercials and some big box retailers such as Walmart and Best Buy price their products with odd numbers? Watch TV or shop at the store and you’ll see $19.95, $29.97, $395, etc. Ever wonder why they do this?

The reason: it works to sell more and higher priced items. For some reason, psychologically we think and feel that odd numbers are less expensive than even numbers… even though they’re basically the same price. We look at $29.95 and think it’s cheaper and less expensive than $30. When in reality, it’s only a difference of .5 cents!

You can use this to your advantage in pricing your services…especially when dealing with higher priced services. Let’s say for example you have a service that costs $5,000. If you were to incorporate the odd number pricing strategy, you could bump that down to $4,995. A difference of only $5, but a huge psychological difference. People will think and feel like the $4,995 price is cheaper than $5,000.

This pricing strategy has been proven and it works! I can attest to this fact in my own business. Just about all of my services incorporate the odd number pricing strategy. I have even had people say they could not afford ___ (my even numbered price) only to turn around and say, “okay great” to my odd numbered service! I suggest you try it in your business. Simply, take all of the prices that you charge and re-price them into odd number pricing. Prices ending in 5, 7 and 9 have proven most effective.

#2 Discount Pricing for Buying Multiple Units

A great pricing strategy is to offer a slight discount if a client purchases multiple units a one time or upfront. For example: A business coach may charge a flat rate fee for a 1-hour session, but if a client purchases four, 1-hour sessions at one time (and pays upfront) then they get a slight discount and better deal. Studies have shown that most will opt for the four sessions versus buying them a la carte.

You can do the same in your business. Massage therapy, coaching, chiropractic, acupuncture, etc. are great industries for this pricing strategy. People love deals. So this one is really a win-win for you and the client. Win for them with the discount and a win for you with upfront payment and booked business.

#3 Small, Medium and Large Package Pricing

Rather than offering your clients one type of service for one price, consider packaging your services into a small, medium and large option… with a small, medium and large price tag. This gives your clients more choices to do business with you and makes your services affordable for just about any budget. If a client really wants to hire you, but simply cannot afford your one price and one option, you’re turning business away. Offering a few packages with a few prices, means more people can do business with you.

Of course the way to make this work and profitable for you is the smaller the package and price tag, the less options the client receives. Also, I suggest offering no more than 3 packages (small, medium and large) so that you are not overwhelming your prospects and clients with too many options.

I challenge you to implement one or all of these pricing strategies. They have been proven and really work. Test them and see what works for you. If you’re just randomly coming up with a price for your services or have no proven, tested method for pricing…I can guarantee you’re losing a lot of business!

Starting a Graphics Design Business Requires Business Advice

Posted by blogadmin under Business
No Comments

Owning your own business produces several different emotions; excitement, doubt and even fear. This is completely normal and pretty much everyone goes through the same thing. However, for some reason many people feel uncomfortable asking for business advice.

Unfortunately, that is one of the areas where information and advice are most needed; guesswork does not provide the knowledge that is necessary to succeed in the business world. Business marketing is another area that most owners really need to understand in order to make a profit. There are consultants and experts for nearly every area of business management and you should avail yourself of their knowledge.

Of course, most people would love to be their own boss. It certainly sounds appealing and there are some people who do it successfully. However, no matter what type of business venture you have in mind, such as being a game designer, offering graphic design services or being an interior designer, there are things you should know before giving up your steady job and jumping in with both feet. Perhaps the most important detail is to identify your own little niche market and consider what type of services you are qualified to offer.

It is also important to create your business marketing plan. In the beginning that may be as simple as asking yourself, “how is my business going to make money.” However, the more your business grows, the more sophisticated the requirements for a plan will become. Again, this is a great time to get professional business advice if you are not completely familiar with the steps that should be taken.

Starting a new business involves risking money. It is important for you to acknowledge to yourself and anyone else involved, such as family or business partners, that yes, you know it may be a risk. It is also important to set goals along the way.

For example, have financing arranged by a certain date, setting another date for signing a lease, having business cards made or having the designs ready for your logo and brochure is necessary. These short-term goals are important; it makes you realize you really are accomplishing something.

When starting a business you need to base it on an overview of the current business environment, which according to experts who offer business advice is a vital part of your success. Many times business owners will start a business that involves using a particular skill they have, such as creating custom designs for logos, brochures, posters etc. While this is normal, developing a good business plan will also involve knowing how your services will fit into the needs of the local economy.

We offer a free graphic design audio gift. Learn more about business advice to start a graphics design business at our portal, and drop us a note at our graphic design portfolio blog.

The Secret To Advertising In Facebook

Posted by blogadmin under Business
No Comments

If you are one of the 62 million%2B subscribers to Facebook, you are aware of what a networking empire the site has become! If you are a business owner, the thought of 62 million potential customers should make you drool with anticipation. The question is, how does a business owner reach Facebook subscribers with an advertising message? This article will reveal key secrets to advertising in Facebook.

Some advertisers stay away from Facebook because the site has many subscribers in the 18-25 age group. I say, “so what?” There are still plenty of subscribers in all age groups to make advertising in Facebook more than worthwhile. Plus, the 18-25 year old subscribers are consumers, too.

The site has multiple useful advertising tools. Advertisers can purchase banner ads, and use flyers that target specific groups. These flyers are featured in the website, and can be purchased for as little as 5.oo! A tool named “Next Step” can be inserted in your homepage, with links to specific sponsored groups. Very handy! One can also place ads within their homepage’s news feeds. A terrific way to send messages is through the “notes” section. Acting almost like a blog, when you post something on it, the message is sent to all of your friend’s news feeds.

The real secret to advertising in Facebook is through word of mouth. Studies have repeatedly confirmed the fact that people are 3-4 times more likely to purchase an item from a person they know. Join groups that are related to your product or service. If you sell travel packages, join a group that likes to travel. Join groups that focus on your passions and interests. When you initially make contact with members of your groups, get to know them on a personal level before you approach them on a business level. See if you can be of benefit to them. Be SOCIAL! After you get to know them, introduce your product or service in such a fashion that you are not “pushing it.” A great approach is to ask for help in introducing your product or service to people in other groups. If you become acquainted with several people in your groups, and apply this approach regularly, word of mouth advertising for your product or service will “snowball.”A great addition to this word of mouth approach, is to form a group yourself. You will attain almost instant leadership status, and the credibility for your product or service will be dramatically enhanced.

Promotional Pens Complement Advertising on a Regular Basis

Posted by blogadmin under Business
No Comments

There is absolutely no denying the fact that advertising today is of utmost importance to an organisation. Advertising today forms one of the most important pillars of an organisation. This is the reason why every business engages itself in some or the other kind of advertising. Advertising, as we all know is an expensive job and not every organisation can afford to put it to use. Even for those organisations whose budgets have space for conventional advertising cannot afford to advertise through out the year. Because of advertising being so expensive there is need for something that is low in costs and can be used alongside conventional advertising.

It is important to ensure that whatever you plan to use alongside advertising is inexpensive so that the business does not end up being bankrupt at the cost of advertising. Promotional pens could well be a great idea that can be used alongside advertising to offer the business a complete advantage. The combination of promo pens and conventional advertising is a terrific one as both can make up for each other’s drawbacks and fairly well complement each other. Pens with their inexpensive nature and simplicity coupled with advertising’s ability to flaunt your brand could be a complete package in itself.

No matter how big a budget an organisation enjoys it still can’t afford to advertise round the year. Public memory is very short lived and once your ads are off air your peers will take no time to take over and sweep your customers off their feet. But when you are using pens alongside there is absolutely no reason to worry at all. Even during the time when you are not advertising your business, your promotional pens will keep your business upfront. So promotional pens easily make up for the absence of advertising and ensure that you do not become a forgotten name in a little time.

Advertising might just be very powerful but at the end of the day it is a mere play of words that does not deliver real value to the audiences. Even the most meticulously crafted and the most creative advertisements are somewhere perceived as advertising gimmicks. Pens can make up for this aspect as well. By being an item of utility, they can help you give something to your clients in real terms. You get to please your clients at the same time and yet advertise your business too.

So double the effect of your advertising campaign with this terrific combo of pens and conventional advertising. Thus it can be truly said that promotional pens can fairly well complement advertising.

Advertising For Free - Tips

Posted by blogadmin under Business
No Comments

For most of us new internet marketers, paying for advertising is always a problem because you are either broke or you are not willing to pay for it until you are certain the system/product/service you’re promoting really works. I remember asking myself whether there might be ways to advertise without spending money because I was broke. A friend of mine then shared with me a few tips that he uses that are free and easy to do.

1. Free Classifieds Sites.
These are sites that you can post your advert for absolutely free of charge. Do a Google search for free classifieds and put your ad in as many as possible.

2. Traffic Exchange Programs
Well with traffic Exchange programs you submit your URL and surf a list of sites to earn credits for your website to be displayed. I have set an hour or so every week to surf sites in traffic exchanges to earn credits. You might also get to learn about some nice websites or programs while doing it, who knows?

3. Replying to SPAM emails
This is the most interesting of the lot. My friend calls it ‘giving the Spamers a taste of their own medicine’. What you do is set up a free email account with yahoo that you not going to use for anything else. Then go into these ’safe lists’, advertising forums and leave your newly created email there. Then set up a vacation message in your email account. It could be something like;

I am away right now, I will check out your offer when I return. But in the meantime here is a great product/service that I fully recommend. Check it out at … and leave your URL.
Best wishes
Your Name

Then what happens is each time you receive a message an automatic reply like the one above will be sent out and in the process advertising your business.

I know most of these adverts don’t get to be read, but a few sign-up or sales here and there, can be realised and remember they are free so they are worth a try. But above everything else, the success of any promotion will really depend on the kind of product your are advertising. If you sell something that nobody wants, you are most likely not going to find much success but if its a product that people see the value of, your success rate will be much higher.

Free Advertising Methods For Cash Gifting Programs

Posted by blogadmin under Business
No Comments

There are many free advertising methods to use for your cash gifting business that I have been using for some time now that have been giving me on average about 3 weekly signups, and I don’t have to spend one single dime.

You must spend some quality time on the internet to be able to learn how to use free advertising to promote your cash gifting business. For example, if you decide to write 3-5 daily articles for cash gifting during a one week period, you would experience a heavy traffic load which would include leads going directly to your website and these would convert into a certain percentage of actual sales for you.

These are some of my most favorite free advertising methods which don’t cost anything that I have been using to market my cash gifting business:

1. Write a minimum of 3-5 daily cash gifting articles with at least 300 words in length. Use your researched keyword at least 3-4 times throughout the body of your article that you write and this should provide you with a decent chance of getting on page one of the major search engines in a very short amount of time, usually just a few days. You will start to see a massive boost in traffic and leads if you implement this method correctly.

Your articles should provide some type of value to your audience. Make certain that you write about how you can help others out in some way and not about your business opportunity or one of your business products.

2. There is another type of free advertising that really works that I have been using to market my cash gifting business and that is through forums. Look for about a half dozen forums or so with a fair amount of traffic flow and be certain the forum has an emphasis on the home-based business industry. Take about 60 minutes a day rotating between the various forums and leave a reply and then create your own topics and threads.

When you are out there do postings on various forums, be certain you have your signature filled out. This is the location where you place your website for other people to see, visit and post on.

3. There is nothing out there that is comparable to that of video marketing for cash gifting. It is free and you can actually get yourself branded and bring traffic to any website you desire. You will not generate a better quality cash gifting lead than the kind you will receive from video marketing.

Just like articles, if you optimize correctly, you will be able to have your videos placed on page one of all the major search engines out there in a very short amount of time, as this usually only takes a couple of days and this will drive tons of quality traffic and real leads to your website.

There are several programs that exist that allow you to be able to upload your video to all major video sites at one time.

All that you need is a decent web cam and between 5 - 10 minutes to record each video you want to use.

I have compiled some of my best and most favorite ways that I promote my cash gifting business that are absolutely free. These don’t cost me one penny. I hope you will find them useful and beneficial as you embark on your journey in the world of internet marketing.

Marybeth Angiolelli has been helping internet marketers for over ten years to generate a healthy monthly income in record time through implementation of many effective free and low cost advertising strategies. Magazine Advertising Can Be a Powerful Tool in Creating Instant Income (Part 2)

Posted by blogadmin under Business
No Comments

The trick to using magazines for direct marketing lies in how well your direct response ad can capture the attention of your target group when they read the magazine. While it is true that you must plan an attractive layout that draws the readers’ attention, more importantly, you must know the system process for writing your direct marketing effort.

Remember, the first impression always counts. So, start with a catchy headline and then write a short brief about your product or income plan. Describe why the reader should prefer your product or service over others, and what exactly you’re offering. Then just as their interest is on the rise, insert a coupon that they must fill up and return to you to claim a free report, or a free trial.

The coupon must ask for essential information, such as their name, address and telephone. After all, the aim of your direct response ad is to make a sale and create a database of potential customers. Your direct marketing agents can use this bona fide database at a later date to make as many conversions as possible.

To hold your reader’s attention and get them to respond to your direct marketing efforts, give them what they want! People everywhere respond to words that tell them how to make more money, look better, get love in their lives, be successful, and enjoy more leisure.

In short, your direct marketing ad will get attention if it promises to be the answer to improve their lifestyle. For instance, if you are advertising your tax planning services, which headline will elicit a better response? “Spend more and pay less!” or “We will show how to save on your taxes…”

Once you have grabbed their attention, the other direct marketing techniques take over. Use the ad to make a definite offer or request that induces them to use a coupon or reply card that they can fill out and return to you, or give a toll-free number that they can call. The idea is to give them a reason to want to share information with you, or get in touch with your direct marketing team.

It could a be a free report or a free trial of your product or service because research shows that readers respond to compelling direct marketing ads by filling out coupons or calling up because after reading the ad they are convinced that they are receiving a valuable product or advice for free.

The effectiveness of your direct marketing ads in magazines is not measured in terms of reach and frequency, like other advertising campaigns. Instead, you should be more concerned with the cost-per-inquiry or cost-per-conversion.
