Personally, I’m undecided in choosing a major. I ‘m leaning toward some type of focus in business. I have a sort of entrepreneur attitude when it come to many aspects. I would say I am interested in traits such as travel(if possible), dealing with the public, promotion, being independent, fashion and entertainment. Is marketing a good choice? Whats marketing pros and cons? Help… and fill me in with extra info. if possible…THANKS!!!

I’ve recently started freelance writing and consulting after many years working on staff. A successful entrepreneur I’ve done business with in the past has been giving me some work. He’s a nice guy and much admired in the profession.
However, he’s very disorganized–new ideas keep popping into his head and I’m spending half my time with him organizing and figuring out what he wants because he keeps going in new directions. I do want to work with him and I don’t think he’s trying to cheat me. But I’m not making a lot of money because of all the organizing work. I don’t think I can change him, but maybe I should try to arrange an hourly billing.
Do you think this is a good idea? Any thoughts from anyone else with a client like this?
Just wondering if anyone has used e-marvel’s datebox and speeddating software. Is it any good and is there anywhere to get both for cheaper than $650? Are there better software or tools? Entrepreneur looking for advice here….
Lets be honest, when we meet new people certain jobs these people hold might generate more interest in the person. Like a girl who is a cashier isn’t as impressive as a girl who trains dolphins or something. I know personality counts the most, but lets set that aside.
out of these jobs which would interest you the most:
Fireman
Lawyer
Accountant
Police officer
CIA/FBI type job
Doctor
Entrepreneur
Artist/Musician/Actor
Pick one or rank them please. I’m just curious, my friend and I had a disagreement about which kind of job really can get women. He said one, and I said a different one. I just threw in some random jobs to mix it up.
Maybe rank top 3
Thanks for the answers. Very interesting. Really didn’t go exactly the way I was expecting, but I think my pick just edged his out.

Audi Q7, or the BMW x5 (the x5 used)… Is this a good choice for a first car.. I take good care of everything I own, I’m responsible and I love to look good and have elegant things.. I’m a young entrepreneur so I can probably get any car up to like 85k and pay it off within some time.. I’m not considering anything like a Toyota or a Nissan because im just not into those cars, however i know that they are great and have great milage..
Wow, I sorta forgot about insurance… What will it cost me to insure those cars that I mentioned?
P.S. Thanks for all your replies!
For one of the people that asked me, what do I do to make me an entrepreneur… I basically started a real estate group in Ukraine, but sinceI live in Brooklyn 2/3 of the year i really wanan try making something here… P.S: Everything is possible in Ukraine!!!
I’m 17 going on 18 (in less than a week) and am really interested in possibly starting a small business on the side. I already have high leadership positions in school clubs, and a presidential position in my youth group. I have a good work ethic and aim to please. I have worked with clients on small graphic design/marketing related tasks before, so I am no stranger…
Just some tips please! Preferably from other entrepreneurs.
Thanks
